Today,our class did tie and dye,it was fun, though it was kind of messy.After coming home, i waited a while then i rinsed the cloth in cold water.The water immediately turned purple+red colour.
Then,i transfered it into a pail of lukewarm water (even though i was supposed to put it in a pail of HOT water)and added detergent to the concoction.i forgot to untie the objects in the cloth before immersing it in the water!But nevermind,the patterns turned out lightly on the blue side of the cloth.
As i had sewn pieces of the cloth together,it was really hard to trace the thread out.So, i've decided to trace the thread out after the cloth dried. i hope the entire cloth turns out smoothly 'cos i've not seen the entire pattern.
